Yep they're awesome wheels.

Yours aren't going to look like the ones on that 350 though. Those are most likely 20's and with a low offset to give it twice as much dish as the 18's with 45 offset.

But they'll still be awesome wheels.

Yeah, I know they aren't going to look exactly like the ones on the Z (those are 19s btw) but I think they will still look nice on the 6. I just really love the design of the wheel itself, looks very detailed.

Also, I know this message board is a not a chrome-friendly environment but I still love the way chrome looks on a black car. Well, thanks for your opinions.

 

Sweet wheels, we've sold a few sets to teh 350Z guys. They do 19's with a staggered fitment.

That's probably an understatement :hoho:

Chrome does go well with the darker colors - black especially. Make sure you post pics on your car once they're in!

Oh, and what do they weigh? What tires are you getting with them?

I had a tough time getting these wheels. If I had known you sell these wheels, I would have asked you first, PRacing. Everywhere I tried to get a quote they either didn't answer or played some sales game where in order to do business with them I had to come into their store. I don't play those games, either give me a quote or I don't bother. I just got fed up after a while with some of their BS.

The place I bought it from, Wheels Direct Online, had a nice selection of wheels and the guy I dealt with was great. Answered all of my questions the same day. I will pay more for peace of mind and good service but that's just me. As for your question, I paid $700/wheel. That's with the RMC chrome(everywhere I saw it was ~$140-$150 extra for the chrome so ~$550/wheel) and shipping was free. It would have been cheaper if I got tires, but they didn't have the tires I wanted.

I'm getting Toyo Proxes 4 225/40/18 from Tire Swap. Heard some good things about them.

As far as the weight, I can't imagine they would be very light as they are chrome. My guess would be ~24lbs? Just a shot in the dark. It's not like I would be racing in these anyway.

And it's taking 90 days because they have to special order them from Japan.

How does 18x7.5 with a 48 offset and 5x114.3 bolt pattern not work on a Mazda6?

 

Lanfear, nice wheels. Im surprised that they didnt do a higher offset since they are ordered from Japan. I thought you were able to order those up to a +52 offset. Im in the same boat as you thought. I curbed a rim and to get one its a 90 to 120 day wait.

 

I looked at the spec sheet that they had on their site and the highest I saw was a +48 so I just took that one. Oh well, +48 should be fine.

I'm sorry to hear about your rims, DRAGONS6. That really sucks. I hope you get your wheels soon. This wait is killing me but I guess I'll keep myself busy with some other mods while I wait

Aww, are you telling me I could have gotten these for $2799.99?

I know it's a lot of money but what can I say? I love my baby! One of the best looking cars I've seen in a while that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's just something about it. I can't explain it. Anyway, I guess it's Ramen noodles until I can recover from these wheels. LOL.
