uh oh CEL

okay i got about 5500 miles on the car. i'm driving home from a buddys after pickin up my 18's. i glance down at the dash to see the orange engine light on. car is bone stock except mobil one 5w30. i know the car calls for 5w20 but i'm pretty sure this can't be the reason. i check the oil. and it's full.

any guesses? car will goto dealer on weds wish me luck!

Could be anything. No point in guessing if there are no other symptoms.

Anyway, that's what warranties are for so don't sweat it.

Did you remove the cap and reseat it?
That helps sometimes. And, you may need a couple of start ups to clear it.

Let us know what the code is when you take it to the dealer. Don't let them tell you they "fixed" it without telling you what the code said.

Curious minds want to know.

pulled it into the shop after work..turns out a vaccum line was disconnected. hooked it back up reset the ecu and no light since.

i had the same problem with my i4, took it into the dealership and they said there was something wrong with the computer, but its happening in a lot of 6's, and not to worry about it unless the cel flashes
