Radiator Replacement DIY?

Ladies and Gents, I've scoured the forums for the last four days trying to find a diy on the rad replacement for the 3.0, but all I keep finding is references and directions to scour the forums because it's here somewhere.

Would someone mind posting a link to it? I've got to get this job done today and I've exhausted my meager skills at trying to guess what keywords to search for.

If there isn't one, just let me know and I'll charge up my camera and create one for all the other poor souls who have to do this job.

Thanks in advance!

Funny how these all look the same without their faces.

I've concluded that the best diy for this is to take the car to a shop that quotes you anything less than $600us and just pay them to do it.
That sucked so bad, it made an entire day at the dentist not sound so bad.

So what happened? A tank crack or a rupture? That seems highly unpleasent for Rad change! Any thing you care to share?

FWIW: Getting the engine full of coolant was a PITA. It just didn't want to take it all at once. Took 4 short drives and letting it cool a tad. Where by it probably took about 2.5Qt more than when I first filled it.
I never could find the rupture point, but the new one isn't leaking so I'm sure the old one was bad. The real beast was getting all of the lower hoses off and trying not to make a bloody mess on the driveway. As you can see, I failed miserably at containing the mess.

^^ hopefully your tranny cooler install was not to blame for any of this! Its all back together and humming along I hope!
It wasn't to blame at all. The rad was the original, and I think it reached the end of its life after ten years in the Texas heat. I should have replaced the condenser as well, but I didn't have the parts on hand.
