are you sure the condensor isn't leaking? And by tranny fluid in your radiator, do you mean you can see tranny fluid in your coolant? or you can see tranny fluid the the fins of the rad?

 

Its tranny fluid in the coolant. It started coming out of the overflow tank and that's how I noticed. Then I checked the tranny fluid and it didn't even show up on the dip stick! I hope the tranny is ok cause I just put it in! Could it be the condenser???

 

It looks there are two transmission cooler lines that are on the actual radiator.. (attached image from manual).. if its getting into the coolant, I would assume theres something wrong with the radiator.. I would get that Fixed asap and flush both the Coolant and Transmission.. you definitely DO NOT want coolant in your trans as it will burn up the friction material very fast..

Put a red square around the lines

 

Sounds like the trans cooler in the bottom of your radiator is leaking into your radiator

time to replace the radiator(and in conjunction with that the transcooler)

 

Thanks nextras!! Looks like a new radiator for me!! I just hope I caught it in time before it hurt the tranny!!!!!!! I just spent 1000 on it!!!

 

I would advise you add aux radiator cooler too and make them separate components.

that way they don't cross paths next time.

i have to agree. plus the fact the stock trans cooler being inside the radiator to begin with is a horrible idea. considering how heat soaked the radiator gets from the coolant alone.

 

Thanks so much for all the help!! From what i hear its a pain to change the radiator. I was thinking about getting a external cooler so this wont happen again!! And it is retarded to put something that is supposed to cool inside something hot!!

 

Any suggestions what kind of external trans cooler to buy???

 

I run one from advance, Hayden is the brand IIRC.

any 1600+ series cooler from the auto parts store should suit you well.
