I have a 04 6S with the 3.0L. I had some codes, had the dealer tell me what they were, and I fixed those issues. When that was done the car started making some ticking/knocking sounds and now uses oil like its fuel. What could be the issues?

The V6 is known to have a hunger for oil, but that seems very excessive.

First, do you see any leaks anywhere? Any source of oil left in the driveway or residue under the car somewhere? Maybe the oil pan bolt isn't secured - Do a thorough check for anything leaking. You may have had a gasket go.

Second, look at your PCV valve/hose. It's located right up against the firewall slightly more on the driver's side behind the engine. It's a well-known issue on the 2005 and older V6s that the hose cracks/bends and the valve gets clogged and they don't do their job. Simple fix, cheap parts, TONs of threads on here with info about it.

my engine never drank oil, along with many other peoples, so it doesnt have a hunger for oil. But if its not taken car of. it will burn oil due to failed PCV valves and a couple other things.

OP, what were the items fixed? and what were the codes prior to fixing?

Mass air flow sensor, PCV valve, coil, plugs, oil change, upper and lower air intake seals and gaskets.
I had codes for the MAF, PCV, misfire in cyl. 4, and converter. But the dealer told me that the misfire and converter code go hand in hand.
