Why is it out of the question for Mazda to build a great sports coupe without it having to be rotary? I would think that the MS3's engine would work great in a light, RWD coupe. I'd love to see a modern-day RX-7...the original was my first love in the car world. But the rotary doesn't have a place in the new world. Horrible MPG, oil consumption, low torque and sketchy reliability aren't on the menu these days. Granted, it wouldn't actually be called "RX-7" with a piston engine in it, but it could still be a fantastic car.
