Seriously, I haven't liked ANY of the concepts I've seen from mazda this year.
Why must they move away from the beautiful styling they have right now? Take a cue from prosche: evolve, not complete redesign.

CarAndDriver was ranting to Mazda about putting out tons of concepts but no production vehicles.

Mazda Hakaze concept
Mazda will use Geneva to show its third concept to follow the flowing Nagare design language. Described as a compact crossover coupe, Hakaze fulfills emotional and practical needs consumers were looking for that include wanting to drive sporty coupes and convertibles, but at the same time have enough room to carry gear that accompanies active lifestyles. A portion of the roof is removable and stowed in a slide-out compartment in the rear bumper to give a roadster-like ride and Mazda's turbocharged 2.3-liter four with all wheel-drive provides the punch for a sporting drive. Two large, one-touch opening pop-up doors allow for easy access to the four bucket seat interior with rubber flooring for carrying damp and dirty equipment. More utility comes with a sliding center tunnel in the trunk, which surfboards and other objects can be attached to and transported. The Hakaze's interior also features an internet connection with LCD screen and digital camera to record occupants or the road.
