I've been searching all over Internet to find out what the sizes are for my Mazda 6 2010 (currently has Bose) speakers.

I've seen Ernie's post, but still didn't have my required information.

I am wanting to change the Deck for a pioneer 3200BT screen, but read that it couldn't be done. So I need to change the whole thing, with wires and whatnot, but I don''t know the speaker size needed!

Thanks for the help guys, it's super appreciated!

center channel - 3.5"
front & rear doors - 5.25", 5x7, 6x7, 6x8 will fit
rear deck - 3.5"

^^ according to crutchfield.

me personally i put 8" woofers in my doors , modding had to be done but nothing terrible.

Damn. Did you wire it yourself or got it done? I am vehicle-mod handicap, but I have a buddy working for the Geek Squad at BB, that'll fix me a good price... It is worth the difference from the Bose ? I purchased a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT with the nav module and the backup camera; but again, I'm wondering if the difference it worth the money involved!

I'm in Ontario, Canada (close to Ottawa). I'm thinking on this setup right here; can anyone comment about pros and cons ?

Kappa Infinity 6" x 8" Component 680.9CS (front doors)
Kappa Inifinty 6" x 8" 682.cf (back doors)
Pioneer AVH-3200BT ( w/ back-up camera )
Sound Ordnance B24 (twin 12" bandpass enclosure subwoofer)
Sound Ordnance M-1500 Mono amplifier ( 500w RMS at 2 ohm )
Sound Ordnance M-4100 4 Channel amplifier ( 100w RMS x 4 )

I am a total noobie when it comes to speakers; I have no idea what all the numbers mean. Anyone commenting and/or informing me on better set-ups, I would very much appreciate...

My friend working at Best Buy will do the install for me. We'll go through the Geek Squad, in order to assure a certain warranty on the installation. He told me installation should cost about 500$ for all the devices... Any sense in this ?

Thanks guys!!

Basic, 2-speaker aftermarket stereo beats bose, yes.

4 2-way speakers powered by a deck definitely sound better.

Components are nicer in the front, but it's enough of an upgrade just to swap out speakers.

Nice, cool then; I ordered Kappa Infinity Components for the front and "regular" 6"x8" Kappa Infinitiy's for the back, plus a 12" sub; it should be good; I'll let you guys know how it sounds compared to Bose, when they're all installed!

Thanks for the heads up!

i have the stock nav with bose and a sub hooked up, you just need some adapter to do it. i am surprised by where the bose cuts off. i would like to replace the speakers, but u have to do wiring as well? i almost think they are blown or something i hear that tick sound every now and then. it's still new lol
