Mazda 6 2.3 2002 bose 6 cd changer - dead???

Hallo,
I bought a second hand Mazda 6 2.3 2002 wt Bose system. The radio works fine and car sound great. But when i want to insert my cd it wont let in. Message is NO DISC when i press CD. Load means CD IN with a beep but wont let it. When I press EJECT no response or no motor sound. I even press it for 2 minutes continuously.

Whatever i read, everybody has some small noise when they press eject, mine nothing.

I took to the look non mazda workshop, they dont want to work on it.

Is my cd changer dead or shall I buy a Yatour USB CD changer and fix in it ..

pls give me ur suggestions..

Welcome to the forum!

Sounds like to motor that handles the CDs is broken.

Options:

- Get a used HU from another Mazda and swap it out.
- Have a local dealership replace it for you.
- Buy a new HU and the Metra Kit so you can put whatever HU you want in the car.
- Go with the AUXMod and just use your iPod/iPhone instead of CDs.

Search any of those topics and you'll find tons of info.

By the way, there is no "2002" Mazda 6 model. You must be referring to a 2003.

Acutally, ,my car manufacturing date is 05/2002 - Mazda 6 2.3 - 166 PS - blue one - Germany

May be its referred as "2003" model .. not sure though...

by the way.. just ordered xcarlink , hopefully it works on my car. Will update the status in a week.

While you have the HU out for the X install, you may as pull the shell off and look in inside. You have nothing to loose. You might get lucky and see something amiss. . .

Mazda6 wagon 2.0 diesel 2003rd I have a Bose system [like] and listen to the radio only, because my cd dead. does not want to switch to the fm cd, tape or disc to eject. my cd is dead.
