Rear is two. We don't have to run a front plate in NC so I can't help you there

Two for the front as well

 

There's a total of 4 bolts on the front plate. 2 to hold on the plate to the holder, 2 to hold on the plate holder to the bumper.

By any chance, do you know the tread size?

 

Word to the wise, go to ace hardware in their nuts and bolts aisle. In the automotive section pick yourself up some plastic license plate bolts and use those for the rear. Lexus dealers sell the same ones but they are $1.50 a piece vs $0.60 at Ace. I've run these bolts for years and you never have to worry about them rusting out and causing issues.

Rear machine screws appear to be metric #6 x 15mm. Totally agree with the "use plastic" suggestion. I'll be changing mine out before I heard north into the snowbelt!
