Headliner Removal, Aftermarket tweeter install.

I have a 05 6s Hatch with bose. I have a sweet system I removed from my old car, which consisted of the front Tweeters (Infinity Kappa Perfect components) installed on-axis on the top corners of the pillars (corner of the windshield) pointed toward the center console. This sounds very good, gives a distinct full sound in the front, so I'd like to do the same in my M6. In my old car I had the speaker wire for the tweeter ran above the headliner, and down the back pillars to the crossover in the trunk. Has anyone had the headliner down in the 6? I notice there are rubber seals around the edges. I really just need to slip the wire along the edge of the headliner. Any tips on removal? Any help would be appreciated.

I just took my headliner down the other day to start reupholstering it. It's super easy. Just remove the pillars (A, B and C), remove the 4 pops along the rear of the headliner, all of the holy shit handles, the sun visors and the overhead map lights. the headliner will just pop down.

if you pull down the black foam and rubber seals you should be able to tuck speaker wire on top of the headliner without removing it. be careful when working around the airbags. you have the same car i do, and there are airbags on the a-pillars (in my car at least.) you may consider installing the tweeters on the door next to (and above) the door handles. there is enough room in our doors to do this, and enough room to put the crossover in the doors as well.
