Can someone recommend a good source for pure white 3157 LED (31mm) bulbs?
There are so many to choose from IDK which ones are better reputed?
Superbrightleds seems to be a popular choice.

I don't need a whole kit.
I just need seven 31mm 3157 LEDs: 4 for the Mazda6 map/dome lights and 3 for the beater Elantra we have.

Thanks in advance.

I bought some cheap ones that were a nice shitty blueish color and then I threw in a pair of these to compare.

JDM ASTAR Super Bright AX-2835 Chipsets Error Free 1.25 inches DE3175 DE3021 DE3022 3175 LED Interior Map Dome Lights, Xenon White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HE6CI58/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_cOypwbM7T5M3N

I've had them in beside the cheaper ones for about 6 months and they're still a very pure white color. Just ordered 2 more to finish out the interior. I think it's worth $5/bulb to function/look great.

Was all new to me also, after reading a lot of posts on here i went with the following back in March, 100% satisfied, no issues, and many comments. Bulb 5 & 6 went to the rear license plate, also nice! The pry tool (for me) was a big help although i am sure a steady hand and a screwdriver would also work.

UPDATE:
The 31mm festoon leds (6 LEDs) fit fine in the FRONT dome lights but NOT in the REAR dome lights.

They have a different housing/clip than the front dome light housings/clips and they will NOT fit correctly with the LEDs facing down. I tried to orient them correctly and push them into the clips, and got the Room Fuse (15A) blown, which led to this fiasco:

looks like I am not the only one with this problem:

Anyone else have a recommendation for well fitting dome lights?

Well, in the front, yes : they were the ones you linked- and they fit.

I bought a cheaper pair from Ebay for the rear - same color temp, etc. BUT I don't think it's the reason that they didn't fit: they look EXACTLY like the amazon ones.

The other guy whose post I linked to above, as far as I know got ALL his bulbs at the same place. And he STILL had the problem of them working in front but NOT in the REAR dome housings. The clips are of a different type, and no matter what I (and apparently him, too) did, it would not stay in the clips.

Perhaps the heat sinks were different on the amazon ones? That's the only part i did NOT check.

I will try to see if I can take one from the front (Amazon ones) and see if I can fit them in the rear domes.
Will update.
