after installing my remote starter, it locks itself at the first use of the brake pedal. i like this feature very much. mine is an Autostart. there are better quality than that.

You can ask your car electronic store...

 

My Viper 791 VX locks the doors when the car is put into gear, and unlocks when you shut off the ignition.
Power door lock switches still work as an over-ride.

 

As does my keyless. Locks with ACC and unlocks with engine off. Can be programmed or deprogrammed in any combination of function.

As you've already read in previous messages, the only way is with an aftermarket remote start/alarm type unit. The OEM system does not provide such an option.

 

Time to get an aftermarket, my oldsmobile alero had that option lol.

 

why would you want your doors to auto lock? if they auto lock, you cant ghost ride the whip!
