Hello everyone. I am new here. I came here to ask a question which is clearly stated in the title. I was wondering if any of you guys know the proper way to remove the dashboard trim to eventually get behind the head unit. Thanks

I haven't figured this out yet, but I'm definitely interested in any ideas.

The top plate looks like it is one large piece that goes all the way across between the a-pillars, and includes the passenger airbag scoring. It's a huge section that wraps down around the front near the doors (red arrows).

I'm guessing that one or more of the front trim plates needs to be removed (green arrows) and that may allow enough access.

You may have to remove the center sub grill to access screws (yellow arrow).

But to be honest - I'm only guessing. I haven't taken the risk yet in my car -- the last thing I want is for a pry blade in the wrong place to slip and take a big chunk out of the leather.
