Thanks, but Remember that I live in Panama (Central America). My aunt in Florida have the rims/tires but I am trying to buy the boxes via internet in USA. The shipping to Panama, no problem.

 

buy boxes significantly bigger than you need and wrap the wheels in bubble wrap...or else it will almost certainly be damaged. during shipment these boxes are tossed around. you dont want a box the exact size of the rim - leave room for alot of packaging material.

Or, you can cut out cardboard to cover the rim (looks like a hub cap)and wrap tape around the whole wheel. The tires won't get damaged during shipping so might as well use them as packaging/protection for the rim

I have shipped tires mounted on rims via DHL several times with no box. I did use a lot of shipping tape, however, arranged from the tread radially all the way to the tread on the opposite side, across the center hub, so the "pretty" part of the wheel was completely covered. You do need to deflate the tire completely before shipping via air freight, to avoid the risk of explosions in the cargo hold.
