Same here...5 years, 100000 miles. I got mine for $1200... :tear:

there are some differences
but at least u get a courtesy vehicle if the repair takes long

I don't think it's 5 years either for that price
I believe you get the standard 3 yr/80 000 km + 2 yr extended warranty (Mazda Added Protection)

 

80k is bumper to bumper
100k is drivetrain (i believe)

 

no standard is 3 yrs or 80k + 5 yrs 100 k powertrain

that's standard warranty

MAP is different

 

I got 7 years or 140, 000

 

But is it really worth it to get the warranty. I guess it comes down to are you planning to spend 1000 for large repairs within the 5 years. Plus the warranty includes labour so I guess its worth it. Any thoughts?

 

MAP does not include labour
only parts
however the dealer will waive the labour fee if it's a warranty repair

buying warranty is a gamble
if your car runs fine than it's a waste of money
if your car doesn't, than it's an investment
only problem, you can predict the future and most ppl assume their car will be running fine
