Hey, folks. I'm DrZ. I am a Miata guy, so pardon my ignorance about the Mazda6. If this car looks familiar, it is because this is 2006_MS6's former car is for sale...again. Thanks to the 2006_MS6 posting the VIN, I tracked down his threads about buying, selling, re-buying, re-selling, and then passing on buying it back for the current owner's asking price. I am considering making an offer for it. I wanted to see what would be a reasonable offer for the car in its current conditon.

I have not checked it out in person yet, but a tech I know has checked it out and supplied me with photos, and a video that shows that it does run. The video is shot from the driver's seat, but it seems to idles and rev fine and I don't hear any odd noises.

Known issues:
Needs a transmission (4th gear grinds)
Front propeller bearing boot is shredded. (If I purchase it, I will be replacing the whole shaft with an aluminum driveshaft from DSS)
Clearcoat is flaking off.

Here are the mods I know of so far:
Engine: SP63 stg2
Turbo: Gtx3076r v2 w/ Tial 44mm wastegate (external)
Trans/driveline: X Clutch twin disc stg4, transfer case billet caps, Michael Ray shifter cables
Fuel: ID1050x port injection 8th port, Hellcat 525lpfp (in-tank), Corksport HPFP
Jmf intake
Exhaust: Corksport exhaust manifold, CPE catless dp and full catback
Tuning: Custom tunes (primary is 93oct and another for e50) by PD Tuning, Cobb AP.
Handling: Rev9 coilovers and Aodhan AH03 wheels

I will be going through all the paperwork and have it professionally inspected by the shop of my choice prior to making any offers. Any pricing suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, Hope all is well. How much is he trying to get for it this time?

When I spoke to him about it, it was supposedly perfectly running and driving now needs a new transmission and the paint is going south etc wow a shame he hasn't taken care of it after dumping all that money into it.

With all those issues it's not worth much. Unless it's one of those two cheap to pass up deals, I wouldn't even bother with buying that car at this
point.
