New to the forum, but I'm seeking help with the MAP sensor on a 2005 Mazda6 (2.3L 4cyl)
I have tried searching to no avail. (pressure sensor doesn't seem to help and "MAP" is too short of a search term)
I am looking for the MAP sensor location that, according to Mazda is in the 4th intake runner. My mechanic, one of my friends, and I have all been unable to find this sensor. We have however found the MAP barometric(atmospheric) sensor, which is located between the firewall and the battery (in front of the driver).
Hopefully someone has seen this in their time working on one of these cars.
I have a mazda6 workshop manual, which has an image that shows a location floating in front/beside roughly near the 4th intake runner. But it hasn't helped me locate it. (it is also too large for me to upload as pdf or image
)
Any help you all could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
