Hey guys, I know every so often someone is selling their 6 and getting a new car.

The headlight lenses on my car are damaged beyond repair, they'll look good for a few days after I clean them and then just turn to shit again.

If you are selling your 6 anytime in the future, would you be able to send me your headlights and I'll send you back mine? I'll pay for the shipping.

Thanks

I've used the 3m kit several times. Ive wet-sanded and everything several times.

Just doesn't seem to do any good.

I've had so many people remark on how the poor condition my headlights just ruin the look of my car.

I actually have an offer posted, but I've got fancy HIDs.. It's your lights plus $600 or you can buy mine for $750 outright..

If you just need non HIDs? Look out for depo lights, and others.. Most of them have fitment or wiring issues..

It would seem if you can clear the plastic at all? It should be fixable.. I would assume these kinds of lenses can be restored a few times? before having any issues. Or getting thin

And I did the restoration loose, but I had some issues bracing them, I was worried about snapping the tabs, so I put em on the carpeted floor and backed em with my couch.. Results were excellent.

How did you guys hold em, without risking the lense or tabs?

When I did mine I used the SprayMax 2k clear. UV Protected clear coat, only down fall is that once you activate the can it has a 12 hour shelf life so have other things you need to paint. I went this route since it was what I had in my garage. The write up by @oh_yeams6 seems promising that was my other option.
