Yes of course my friend.. I follow up the tread from time to time ...In fact, I am so embarrassed that I can't give you my feedback about the adapter I purchased for the Bose Amplifier. We are still under lockdown here.

I'm still glad that you are still here. I'm not in a hurry to get the head unit. And same here, I haven't updated the 360 camera thread I made.

Good to know that you are doing well during this lockdown period. I myself couldn't risk having a haircut, so I "forced" my wife to trim my hair a bit.

Hey guys, I just bought 2017.5 GT with popup HUD.
Will will this work for me? And will I still be able to change the the HUD settings on this unit(Ownice C900)? and if not. The HUD should still work right?

Sorry for late reply.. this is awesome forum. Looking forward to talking to you guys more.

Now... after all this time of suffering with lockdown...at last, I installed the adapter... but unfortunately, It is just to help operating all speakers.. Now all speakers work well but I wasn't able to configure how to use the factory amp of my Mazda 6 2016 (in AliExpress 2016 model equals 2017) so I assure that I couldn't use the factory amp but The sound of the 11 speakers is way better than the factory amp.. I think as the seller told me the Head unit has built-in amp itself..

Note; problem solved after getting he right harness.. now the amplifier is in full capacity without any cables cutting) please see page 3

Hello Dear, yes HUD is working fine.. you can control its height and brightness in a way better than the original head unit.. I suggest that you should see the new release of this head unit K7... I advise you to contact the seller for all details before purchase and of course keep in mind that you might have to scratch some cables especially the one going to the factory amp to get the sound out of the head unit... or... may be you will be lucky and configure how to use the factory amp with this unit but anyways This head unit gives a better sound than the original amp... good luck...
please see this link

Thank you for your update! At least, all speakers are working well as it should. If the sound is satisfactory, then I think it should be fine.

You said that everything works in the head unit just like the OEM but I forgot to ask about the SMS. Does it have an automated message response where you can select it from the menu?

You are welcome... I can connect automatically with Bluetooth... I can make calls... but I haven't tried or thought of using automatic message response... I will see and give you the feedback about this.

For BOSE system

In the OWNICE harness we have a big black, a big yellow and a thin red cables, these 3 are the power to the unit
Also we have a brown cable named "BACK" in some cases
well, that BACK cable must receive 12V+ from the radio (the 12V+ are needed to wake up the BOSE AMP) but for some reason (at least in my case) it doesn't feed 12V+ in the brown cable (so no sound in the bose system as the AMP sleeps)
All that I did was cut the bron cable named "BACK", and feed 12V+ from the red ACC+ to that brown BACK but TOWARDS the ORANGE connector, not towards the radio
And that's all, when you turn the key, the ACC+ (red cable) will feed 12V+ to the brown "BACK" cable and the BOSE AMP will wake up

Ok this foto is only to make it easy to understand

System: OWNICE K7 6/128 with mazda harness cable and canbus provided)

THIS WORKS WITH MAZDA 6 MPS (2007 car) WITH FACTORY BOSE SYSTEM.
IF YOU HAVE A NEWER MAZDA WITH BOSE SYSTEM, PLEASE INSPECT YOUR HARNESS SCHEMA FIRST

Put your connector the same way as the photo to locate your cables (colos may differ from my harness)

We don't care about white and yellow circles, they're there only there to show you the ground (white circle) and permanent 12V+ (yellow circle) cables

ATTENTION: For OWNICE Radio owners: Be sure that the "A4 - BACK" cable from the radio goes to the blue circle endpoint in the orange big terminal.

1-) We modify the blue cicle cable, we cut that cable at the middle of the harness and forget the half that goes to the radio connetor (you can
put a little scotch there to avoid contact with other cables, we will use the other half (that goes to the connector shown in the photo) as folows:

We peel down a little bit of the red circle cable (AAC+) to attach (and eventually solder) the blue circle half cable (cutted previously) that comes from the connector (shown in photo)

Result:

When you turn the key (ACC+) the red circle will also provide 12V+ to the blue circle and will wake up the AMP (and the AMP controls also the speakers)

All done, you have sound in your mazda with BOSE system.

Try it first with the radio disconnected from his cmain connector and put only this connector (show in photo) attached to the mazda harness: When you turn the key you will hear a kind of bump sound that indicates that the AMP is waked up

Cheers

I really appreciate it.
next week, I will get my new k7... Nobody is happier than me now... this matter was chasing me and occupied my thinking for along time...

ATTENTION: I did this mod to work in a MAZDA 6 MPS (Mazdaspeed) 2007 car with factory BOSE system, I don't know anything about new mazdas harnesses, you must check your harness if you have a new generation mazda

I know that this MOD works flawlessly with 2006-2008 Mazda 6 MPS with BOSE systems and 2007-2012 Mazda 3 MPS with BOSE systems, but with other mazdas you may check what is the cable that wakes up the amp

My test in my mazda 6 MPS before modify the OWNICE harness was the following
With the ACC OFF I put a clip between 18 (ACC) and 10 (AMP CONT)
When I turned the key (ACC ON) I heard a kind of Bump (AMP waking up)

Did this before modfify the OWNICE provided harness

Again remeber: I HAVE A 2007 MAZDA 6, NOT A NEW ONE

Here the schema for a MAZDA propietary connectors, I used it to understand how the factory radio works
This is EXACTLY the config on my mazda 6 2007 with BOSE
