My friend got a ticket with a blue led there, it was a juicy ticket too, so I think I want to avoid it, Ialso would think that red would be illegay. What about white, purple and green any ideas there?

also what is the maximum diameter that the 194 whole will allow to fit?

I have blue 4 led 194 bulbs, and they are very bright, at night you could see them shining on the road from car to about 6 feed from it. But the trick is that i have eyelids that cover the led from being seen, therefore you could see the light but not the bulb, and it doesn't blind anyone.

I assume it's legal to have blue ones in RI because I've been pulled over a couple times for my HIDs and for not having a front license plate, and they never said a word about the 194s being bright blue.[/b]
Sorry for getting off topic ... But why did you get pulled over for your HID'S. Were they aimed too high or too much glare? Because you only have a 5000k kit. Just wondering.

Because the cop was in front of me and noticed that my lights were a lot brighter and whiter than normal. BTW, the Apexcone 5000K kit could pass for a 6000K, many people have asked me if it's 6000K. And also the cops in RI are douchbags.

I assume you're refering to the parking light, and it's not really a 194 but actually a W5W or 2825 bulb (slightly higher wattage than a 194).
The only two colors you may legally display from the front of the car unless you are an emergency or law enforcement vehicle are white and amber, period. Red, Blue and Green are definite no-no's. Anything else I suppose is subject to the discretion of the officer who stopped you.
