So my clumsy ass broke this connecting piece that goes to the air intake accordion, dealer wants $98 for the accordion which comes with the piece I need. Any ideas where I can get it cheaper or if I can make something of my own to connect it? In the picture you see I rigged a clear hose so I can still drive.

can't see the broken part, but was it the elbow or the breath hose?

unhook the breather from the CC vent..... separate the point at which it turns and pull. this will make it a elbow(that will go back to the CC) and a 3/8th plastic hose.

throw hose in garbage and get a 3/8th hose joiner. Then get a specter breather filter.

Then it is a matter of capping off the accordion.

Or I can sell you one of my spare accordions for 70 bucks........ up to you.

The elbow broke and it seems like I just need to find a similar piece, couldn't find onee at advance so ill check if I can find something at home depot. If not maybe ill hit up the junkyad and find a similar piece. Don't really want to spend much on and oem intake just want to fix the problem, appreciate the offer.

Free shipping isn't bad. I bought the Dorman piece off RockAuto a few days ago for a buck more and paid shipping (but amortized it by buying some other stuff from the same warehouse).

It hasn't arrived yet, but the quality couldn't be any worse than the disposable pile of plastic what was stuffed under the hood in the first place.
