Good morning everyone. Last night, I had the unfortunate realization when getting back to my car from grocery shopping, that someone had sideswiped my 6.:crying: The only damage is the passenger side headlamp and some paint from the front bumper. My first thought was to just let insurance take care of it, but if the cost of a new passenger side headlamp is less than my $500 deductible, then maybe I'll do that. However, I'm really struggling to find the correct light online, because the 2016 GT has a different shape and everything. I'm not super worried about the paint because when I bought the car, the paint was already chipping quite a bit, so I'll most likely need to repaint the whole car at some point, and I don't think that the front bumper looks too bad currently. If anyone knows the part number or a link to the correct headlamp, I'd be very appreciative.

Yea, that was my plan. This morning, a little came off just by wiping it with my hand. There is some deep spots, where the paint has been removed completely, however it's black underneath so from a distance it's nothing.

search eBay for mazda 6 led headlight. The link below I believe is the correct ps GT headlight.

Thank you so much! That's the one. In my search, the only ebay one I found was $1600 for both sides. So that turned me off from looking at the ebay links. The one you linked has a tab that's broken. Do you think that would still work properly? Maybe just some jb weld or something to fix it.

A brand new LED Headlamp for a 2016 Mazda 6 GT from Mazda is $1,330 for ONE lamp - I know because I had someone back into me and push my front in a tiny bit and it caused my headlamps to move out of alignment and a body shop pulled them up on their computer to see the cost of replacement. I ended up being able to do the work myself thankfully with a bit of elbow grease and $250 worth of plastic grill parts, the headlight was fine but the shop wanted to replace it anyway "just in case" even tho I just had to loosen the bolts a bit, move it back into the right position, and tighten it back down.

But yeah anyway that's the story of how I learned that each of my headlights costs $1,330 brand new. If you're interested (which I doubt), here's a link to buy online:

Yea, I'm just waiting on the effects of the storm to pass so I can get the car fixed. I just try not to walk around the front of the car so I don't have to see it. However, with the car being black, it's not super noticable.
