Over the years many people have asked questions about Fog Lights for the 6 and bought the incorrect one’s on Ebay 
because people sell JDM (Japan Domestic Market) fog lights that do not fit the US Build Mazda6. So we probably need a comprehensive post ( sticky??) so owners have one place to look for it. Please feel free to correct me.
2003-2005: The non-sport did not come with Fogs Installed and Mazda does have a kit that fits, part number has changed over the years, MSRP $172.50, Parts.com price $130
This kit comes with a replacement light switch ( stalk ), part #'s used over the years: 0000-8Z-H01, 0000-8Z-H01A, 0000-8Z-H25 or 0000-8Z-H25A
2003-2005: The sport version of the car did come with fog lights build into the headlights which are operated by the switch on the light stalk. There is a space for a fog light on the lower bumper. Mazda US never sold a kit that fit this space. There are ebay sellers (Abaleonepoon for example) who do sell kits that will fit, but it requires a separate toggle switch or rewiring to the headlight mounted switch and/or replacing it with the JDM 2 position fog light stalk. Contact the seller before buying.
2006-2008: 1st Gen Facelift, all US build models use the same bumper and only the Grand Touring package did include fog lights. Mazda did prewire all the US build Mazda6’s and even included the Fog Light relay. However they never created/sold a kit for these years and as a result many frustrated owners. Many face lifted kits listed on Ebay are for the JDM cars only (06-07) and look like they might fit but don’t. I did a lot of research and found the necessary parts #’s to create a kit. MSRP from dealer $430. If a kit on e-bay does not include these parts it won’t fit. A kit that cost $175 or less can never include all these parts and uses seperate wiring and switch.
