Alright, I am new so sorry if this isn't the right spot for this thread....

Prob one: Car HAS NOT and DOES NOT shift hard, BUT it does have this weird problem lately where I am afraid to drive it far (20 min away). It been shifting into 3rd gear and reving up around 4-5k then shifts back into 2nd, this is going around 20mph.There is no codes, no grinding, everything is smooth. It almost is acting like when it shifts to 3rd it is slipping. She acts like it has no idea what gear to be in. The car has 50k mile on it. Please dont tell me to flush the fluid, im not retarded and tried that. :D

Prob two: Probably not tranny related but around 40mph, she studders a bit when im quite annoyed with it. Cleaned MAF, wires, fliter and oil change. No known cracks in hoses. Does however make KAHHH sound when you shut it off. Yes KAHH say it with me, KAHHH.

Oh I also forgot to mention, I made a appointment with the dealer to get the ecu flashed. Is the a good idea? Bout 100 Bucks

I was just reading posts about tranny fluid. I realize you posted this a few months ago but I would have recoomended to check your fluid level first, then check the speed sensor for the shifting problem.

2nd, regarding the shuddering at 40, that sounds like an O2 sensor issue to me.
