i haven't had them on the car for 6 years....if the car isn't running it't not because of these. if they are leaking air, just cap them and be done with it until you can replace them. they make the car run more efficient, not run period. you'll have at least 2 CEL's, though i think it's 3, but other than that you should be fine.

They are under the engine cover close to the radiator reservoir tank.
