Hi all,

I'm having problems with my 2009 Mazda 6. When I start the engine, the DSC off light is on as well as the light indicator that shows that the car has no traction and I can't switch it out of park. I guess I will have to bring it to the dealer later today, but they don't open for a few hours and I am hoping to be able to get it driving so I can at least drive it to the dealer myself and not have it towed.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

have you disconnected the battery? If so just turning the steering wheel all the way to the left then right a couple times… I know I have to do it on mine but sense I have a 6speed I don't now if it also locks your auto gears?

I dont know where this is on a 2nd gen mazda 6.. but most cars have a shift lock override (often around the shifter maybe under a cap). It's there for situations like yours or for emergency so car can be moved without key. Check manual or call dealer and ask location.
