Hello there everyone.
Tonight when I was preparing myself to my upcoming iPod module for my 2004 Mazda 6 standard, I went to get my hands little dirty and see the steps of taking off the head unit and face plate of the car for myself. At the begininng everything went just right but right after I pulled out the central console " while the wire clips are still intact" I noticed that the radio went off and th power button or any other button related to the radio does not function. I tried to put on a cassette "as I told you my Mazda is standard lol" it worked and ejected the cassette nevermind. What I want to ask is there's anyone can reply to this thread by telling me which sort of wiring should be checked and what wires might be loosen up while doing this particular process. In addition half of the backlight of the central console is off as well. Thanks

I'm having a right half backlit dash now. I'll be posting pics by tomorrow. And I hope by the time I get a reply on the thread.
