Will a tint place tint the whole windshield for you? I didn't think any tint place would do that but I might be wrong. It just seems dangerous but I'm sure it would look pretty sweet. I would say you might attract attention because then no one could see you very well through the windshield

Unless you live in Vegas, I'd recommend against it. What are the laws where you live? I know here we're only allowed to tint the back doors and back window, but can often get away with subtle tint on drivers and passenger door.

Never seen anyone anywhere other than vegas with tinted windshield.

I live in Nebraska. Our tint laws are 35% front and 20% rear. I know lots of people that tint to 15% without issues. I am thinking with the 5% visor it won't look too obvious. Next week, it is going to be warmer here so I will get it done then. Worst case I pay $100 for a new windshield.

It's not like sunglasses you can take off at night to see better. You get in an accident some rainy night and the cop on the scene gives you a ticket for it, later insurance adjuster sees it, how does that work out? Law suits from people in the other car because it's illegal?

This just seems like a dumb/dangerous/useless idea.

What would really suck with that would be that stuff reflects off the tint at night in lighted areas. At least, that's what I notice about the strip across the top of my car. It always seems to reflect the top of the dash which makes it harder to see out of.

One of my friends went to get an inspection and he failed it because they said he had a tinted windshield. Of course he just took it to another place and passed. It would look cool though. You should post some pictures after you get it done if you are going to do it.

You may wish to further investigate the tint laws. "Front" usually means front windows, not the windshield.
