I am thinking about buying the enkei 18" wheels (18 X 7.5 with +45 offset) with either 225/45/18 or 225 /40/18 tires. Would I need to roll my rear fenders with either of those tire sizes on a 2003 6i?

You will likely need to roll the fenders with that setup. Of course, you can always put them on, drive around and see if there is rubbing, then roll them as needed.

the offset is good. the only thing you would have to worry about is the 225 wide tires. you might not have to roll, but it never hurts to be safe.

i am running a 225 tire w/ +42 offset and barely have to roll the fenders. so you shouldn't have any problems.
