Some run that without rolling, but I would roll just to be sure. Rubbing sucks. Bad. Just pick up a cheap wooden baseball bat from Kmart and roll those suckers, then you can run whatever you want (within reason)

rolling would be nice, none of the rolling meets were ever easy for me to get to. is the baseball bat idea really a good option....? sounds cheap, but makes me a bit nervous...

it seems you really like to make some comments that aren't needed dabears. I did in fact do a search and found a number of threads but some say they didn't roll and some say they did. all of these were comments in other larger threads so i thought i would ask specifically in a seperate thread.

here is one example with no rolling:

and another where rolling seems to be inevitable:

Don't mind him. Somehow he's taken it upon himself to scold everyone for not searching lately. Anyway, I rolled mine with a bat and it turned out just fine, it's really not a big deal, you're just bending a piece of metal back. I was nervous as well, but it turned out just fine. Just make sure if it's not really hot outside when you do it that you keep a heat gun on the paint so it doesn't crack. I did mine in the dead of summer and it was no issue, however I'd advise you use the heat gun. A local Cleveland member runs RX8's with, well actually I'm not sure of the tire size without a fender roll and he's had no issues, but you might as well be safe with the roll.

See? How hard was that? I coulda just told you to search too, but that's just not how I do things :D

notice the second part of my comment...

I have rx8 rims with 225/45/18's (same setup) and I have my fenders rolled (with a roll)

therefore, "I have the exact same setup with a roll"

thanks buckeye

dabears, i saw your comment, but it didnt' say anything wether the roll is neccessary and i was also commenting on the fact that your other search comment wasn't neccessary and then you go and make another comment about not seeing anything. whatever i'm over it, it's the weekend and don't feel like doing the back and forth on here.

anyone else with this combo and thoughts on rolling or not rolling??
