In a word, no.

He's got the 3.0L, which is the V6. Your 2.3L is a 4-cylinder.

got a good deal from a friend on his performance headers but he has the 3.0l wasn’t sure if it’ll work, thanks!
Sorry for laughing, everyone has to start learning about cars at some point, and it seems like its more after they are adults cause dads arent teaching them these days. Nothing from a 6 cyl would fit a 4 cyl in this scenario.

You wouldnt enjoy much in the way of gains other than noise either, so its really a waste of time.

A month ago, I probably would've been interested in helping your friend unload his headers, since if they were cheap enough I'd get an exhaust to finish, but in the end, I just replaced the failing headers.
That was off topic, but OP, just be sure to not get discouraged by snarkiness here and for future returns always mention year, engine and transmission so we can exclude conditions that don't apply. One big reason for keeping an updated signature. Welcome to the 1st gen club!

Exhaust systems by themselves, especially headers alone, will give you nothing but a change in exhaust note. You will be converting gasoline into noise, basically. Modern cars are actually very well tuned mechanically and take computers and forced induction to find hidden power.
