The answer I was putting up in the F/S thread:

I would hesitate on the tires only because it is 245 with a 50 aspect. That is much taller than what Dave (dawei) was using/suggesting. Also, keep in mind the offset of +42 is not so good. I ran 17x7 +42 offset on 225/45/17 and I had to roll my rear fenders due to very light rubbing. Now put the 50 aspect together with the +42 and you may find yourself getting new tires.

Plus, the 6 will not see a benefit of a staggered tire setup like a Z would.

The rims will work and you'll need to roll the fenders, but 235/45 tires would be the best set to work with in this instance.

I would by the set for the wheels, not for the tires. 245/50 is about 1.1 inches bigger in diameter versus stock. It'll throw your speedo off by 4.6%. Plus the staggered layout would throw off the ABS sensors and possibly the traction control and DSC as well.

And to fit a 235+ on a 7.5" isn't a great idea either. You should go at least a minimum of 8".
