You'll be treading on thin ice, but it "may" work...
even if I go with a lower profile (225 or 215 (stretch)/40/18) tires to go with the 18x8 40mm offset? Like I mentioned I am still on stock heightyeah but then you get into the problem of the upper a arm possibly hitting the tire in the front

I think the fenders of the Mazdaspeed6's front fender is a tad wider than the regular 6. Can anyone confirm this?NO WAY BRO!!! I ran 18x8 with a 35+mm offset. With that set up I had my fenders rolled completely flat against the body and even had to have the fender pulled out about an inch. Thats on an 03 6s. I'm not sure how the MS6 works, but you would not be able to do that on an 03. Oh and by the way, all this was done before I had my eibach kit put on. with the roll and pull of the fenders it was allright.

I know ain't that gorgeous? I just dont want to spend then later find out that it doesnt fit thats why I am asking first for some feedback for that wheel spec. 22 lbs thats what can you expect in an 18" wheel unless its forgedWow nice looking wheels!! a bit heavy though, some of those weight over 25 lbs. Go for it if they can fit, they will look sweet as hell on a MS6.

did you lower your car? did you roll your fender with that that slight rub?i run a 18x8 with 225/40 and slightly rub in the back +45 offset

good to know, any photo of your car with your aftermarket rims?no lower and haven't got around to rolling the fender yet. it only rubs if i corner it like i stole the car. which doesn't happen very often
