they are becoming more common in LA/So Cal, but still rare when compared to camrys/accords/altimas. I see more of the just released new camry then our sixes, LOL.
I concur, especially about the new camry.they are becoming more common in LA/So Cal, but still rare when compared to camrys/accords/altimas. I see more of the just released new camry then our sixes, LOL.
Like the plague....You can't really grasp how many camrys are sold until a new model comes out and it's like holy [email protected]#, they are everywhere already!
Mazda 6 U.S. and Canada SalesIt's pretty clear why you don't see many Mazda 6 on the road. The company just published its sales figures for January. They sold about 3700 Mazda 6 worldwide. Annualizing that figure, that's less than 50,000 cars a year. In the whole world. There's probably fewer than 20,000 a year imported into the US. In all 50 states.
Thanks for correcting me on that, Mz6GreyGhost. I didn't realize that was a US specific sales figure.Mazda 6 U.S. and Canada Sales
You're right, 3766 cars sold in January, but that's U.S. sales.
Interestingly, sales are impressive, but still lag behind the 1st-gen...
Omg....yassss. I loved my 2014 but I can admit it was not well made at all. I saw the 2016 floor display last week when I went in for my oil change, test drove, and was like I don't care what it takes, I'm trading up todayThey could be rare because I try to talk people out of buying one when they ask how I like it.
Mazda put a lot of features in my 2014 and it won many awards. That allows them to sell them for full nothing less than their full asking price.
The clearcoat scratches with the slightest brush by. I have my doubts about the paint thickness in general. My grill is chipped already.
The entertainment system's programming is a disappointment and the attempted fix appears to have made opinions worse.
It always sounds like a window is not up all the way.
Two door seals tore and separated within months of my purchase. Ordering replacements took two months for my dealer.
Wind noise is standard.
This car was made in Japan. I expected a more quality product.
The engineers must not have driven this car in the daylight. If they did, they would have noticed a constant reflection of the metal trim around the air vent on the side windows. For me, it's right in my view of the side mirrors.
A nut fell from a tree I was parked under. I now have a dimple in my roof. Is the metal that thin?
A coin holder would be nice. If I make a turn, their sliding in the tray is annoying.
Contacting the customer service hotline is a joke.
It looks nice and handles well, but the annoyances are keeping me from enjoying it.

Follow DFW area resident here, and I see them all the time. My normal commute (20 miles each way) usually has me seeing at least 1, if not 2 3rd gen 6s daily.Yeah, both the 6 and the 3 have been running wild in the DFW area. I see them on a daily basis. The other day I saw 4 3rd gen Mazda 6s and at least 3 three 3rd gen Mazda 3s. They are selling pretty well in DFW that's for sure.:surprise:
There are a lot more 3's than 6's pretty much everywhere. Although, I had recently spoken to the owner of a new Mazda6 and he loved it. Seems like the car should be selling better than it is, but at the end of the day the Accord and Camry have the market on lockdown. There are a lot more 3's than 6's in my area of San Gabriel, California
