) !!!Hong Kong and Guangzhou crime is not that bad compared to the small towns in Rural China. I've been to a suburb of Guangzhou twice and each time saw a robber on a motorbike try to snatch a purse from a young lady. No one will believe me until you go there but you really have to more careful of thieves than here.
That being said, the small towns and cities of China that have been not too westernized are a total blast. Its like going back in Time, love that part.
