Hi, new to the forum. Last night I replaced the spark plugs and coils on my 05 6 and when I started the car coolant spewed out of this connection that I must have cracked somewhere along the way.

I believe it is heater hose connection, not sure of the name? I attached a pic, right next to the battery.

Any help would be appreciated.

That is the coolant tee that feeds the throttle body coolant. You can either go to you dealership to buy a new one, or just bypass the throttle body coolant loop all together. Whatever you do, do no try to glue it back on! It WILL break again and you will get stranded.

I hope that helps.

another victom... i think the part from Mazda is$60, includes the hoses. i bypassed my throttle body and the "tee", by using hose splices...i dont know if you know this yet but there are 2 of those tees. the lower one has 3 hoses also, one goes to the water pump.
