I have already replaced the ECM with a re-tuned one. I have a Fujita CAI, tinits going on tomorrow, waiting for delivery of dual center-outlet exhaust, just painted the calipers yesterday, HID's also going in tomorrow.
Nice car man. My dad has the same exact one with the two tone interior. It's a real fun car to drive. And the suspension is amazing on these things.

I was thinking of doing that swap...have read much about it on the solstice forum. It's very expensive though...I love the car regardless of what some of you think...and that's totally cool that you voice your opinions, but as long as I love it, thats what matters. Some of you would change your mind if you drove it and saw it in person. I get many more looks and nice comments than I did in the 6.
all you gotta do is click the link lapislazuli6 . and too much $ oh come on it's only 20,000 dollars plus the cost of the car and knowing that you have no warranty through pontiac anymore .
I woulda gone for the Sky instead. IMO, Solstice = mid-life crisis/female roadster Sky = cool gen x/y roadster.
Business, nothing wrong with VW. That's what I traded my 6 in on. Don't even go into the whole reliability thing. They are as reliable as you make them.....
relability depends on your luck i supppose. my fiance's best friend had had 2 engines, 2 tranny's and a new rear end in her 06' GTi. sorta sad if you ask me.
I like where Pontiac is going with this car, but I think the interior on this car is so bland and cheap. I don't think I could stand driving it all the time.
I definitely love the car, and I definitely dont think it's a chick car...especially in the color I chose. You cant hate on it till you have driven it...tons more fun to drive than the 6. It's personal preference I guess.
