Can you put a price on driving experience? LOL. Personally I'd get it, just to see what the fuss is. Apparently it's ALOT better. My friend has a Miata, so I want to meet him up first and try his before I commit to anything

Mine has little cracks/scratches in the silver ring around the top.... but still works obviously.
I like it but I might be upgrading to a heavier option from Sure... I'm going to be borrowing SonicNutrition's shift knob to see what I think later this year.

It is not. It is discontinued. The given part number was an accessory, but the one linked above, is the official part number (NE55-46-030B). Confirmed with the dealer today.
Anyways, I bought the one for the Speed 6, which I hope is a better fitment than the Miata one (which would need a boot retainer)
This is off the Miata? I would be interested, but I ordered one from the Speed6..which hopefully has a better fitment and doesn't need a boot retainer. Hopefully its heavier than stock.![]()

Which shifter did you get? The speed 6 one weighted? Do you have a link or part number?

There's a stock pic. I talked to parts on the phone and they looked it up by model (2007 Speed 6). Apparently it's also used for the new Mazda 5's and Speed 3's. Pricey though at 200 bucks.
I can't confirm that it's weighted, but the person who helped me said that in his experience, the one I wanted is heavier than my stock one..so I'll take his word for it.
NE55-46-030B. This is the official part number.
