Can't even find one. Discontinued
One N122-V8-170F left in stock on Amazon. Unfortunately they must know that there's not many floating around, because they want $143 ($20 more than I paid for mine last year). You can see mine installed on page 10 of this thread. I discuss the use of washers as spacers to get a tight fit as well.

Mine has little cracks/scratches in the silver ring around the top.... but still works obviously.
I've had the same issue. It works great, and I still love it, but those scratches always catch my eye.
I just replaced mine with a Sure Stainless Steel knob, it's over 600 grams, feels amazing when you row through the gears.

just purchased this knob. from the pics of the OP, I thought thought it would be a simple swap not knowing about the gap. anyone have an idea of how to remove the shift boot in the 2016 model, its a different center console and boot compared to the 14/15 model. thanks!

It is not. It is discontinued. The given part number was an accessory, but the one linked above, is the official part number (NE55-46-030B). Confirmed with the dealer today.

Anyways, I bought the one for the Speed 6, which I hope is a better fitment than the Miata one (which would need a boot retainer)
I am actually about to go grab one from the Speed6 from an auto parts dismantler. What do you think about it?

Hey all, I just installed a 5MT weighted miata shift knob in my 2016 Touring, I LOVE IT. Shifts are so confident, and that "crunch" in 1st is totally eliminated. Awesome upgrade. My only problem with it was that it had the 5MT shift pattern. So I crafted a new shift pattern and inset emblem. I think the results are pretty damn satisfactory!

Has anyone tried using the new Miata ND shift knob?
I have - and I really like it. Weight is the same as the speed6 knob. I like the baseball shape a lot more than teardrop, since it gives you more grip positions. Plus - red stitching. :) I've tried a lot of different shift knobs on my GJ, and I like this one the best. I've got one of the 500g knobs too, and I think once you cross over ~150-200g, the extra weight doesn't really make a difference in feel.

Like the speed6 knob, you will still need to add some washers under the shift boot collar to close the gap.

Also - I'm actually going back to stock now - about to put the ND Miata knob up for sale with a matching redlinegoods shift boot and ebrake boot. Shoot me a PMif you're interested in working something out. My car was the template model for the boots, so you can see the setup on redlinegoods' website: http://www.redlinegoods.com/Mazda613shiftboot.php
