Hi guys,

I was thinking to change my tires for winter and in my search I found out some differences between US and European Mazda 6 (first generation). For example US-spec car comes with 205/60/r16 tires while the EU one is fitted with 205/55/r16. Are there some differences in suspension and other parts? Can I use on my EU-type car, 205/60/r16 tires? What other differences are between them? I welcome those in possession of valuable information to share it here.
All the best!

if your car came stock with a 205/55/16, then running a 60 series sidewall is gonna throw off your speedo reading. its calibrated with your stock tires in mind. and the speedo has no way to know you have a different sized tire on there. it wont be off alot. but its something to think about. but other then that, theres nothing wrong with running a larger sidewall. and actually kinda common here in the winter for better traction.
