So I'm installing my motor mount and I finally got the holes to line up however now when I stick the bolt in, it goes in, then loosens up and then gets really tight before it even gets in 3/4 of the way. Like There is no way I could tighten it all the way if it continued to get the tight.

Help?

It's definetly the inside. Gave up and took the mount out and the female side in the engine is fucked. The thread looks really scratched up...

This DIY is going to cost me 5x what it would to have it installed.

Can the engine sit overnight without a rear mount and no jack?

You're not the first lol.Mazdaspeed Forums. There are other ways of fixing a bad thread but this guys solution is simple if it's the same part thats stripped...

haha well it's nice to know I'm not the first but I can't use a longer bolt cause in the speed 6 the hole for the bolt is blind or closed or whatever you call it. Only one entrance to the hole

Just figure out whst thread pitch it is and re-tap the hole to clean up the threads. Done.
