I just recently bought an Mazda 6 2005, everything is fine but there is just a strange unknown button that hanging out next to the dash brightness wheel (please the picture).
Anyone know about it? Should I worry about it?

Second question, I can't found the button to open the trunk anywhere on the dash, is it not exist? I need to use the key to open the trunk every time
I found some key on ebay that have trunk open button. Will that work for my car?

the button to open the trunk is either on the fob and its near the pop hood latch it'll be a black button

no the 05 mazda 6 has no foglights i think they started foglights in 2010 but I'm not 100% sure

Valet trunk release is in glove box top left. It's for use with valet service. To be used with valet key. Press it once and you should be good to go.

the actual button is near the pop hood latch to turn the circuit on its in the glove box

that's probably what they did I wouldn't do it because I suck at wiring lol id burn the damn car down

The 03 - 05 had intergraded fog lights in the headlight assembley and headlight stock (I sport and higher) 06 - 08 had them in the front bumber

The 2003-2005 had integrated (headlight) fog lights on some trim levels (sport) or as an option with some chassis.
The 2003-2005 (pre face-lift) had them as a dealer option (0000-8Z-H01A) on non-sport models for the lower bumper.
