I test drove both models yesterday. I must say I was dissapointed on the lack of power from the 6I. I felt as if I was driving the p5 or protege. The 6 cyl was very smooth and I loved that feel. That I expected.

I will still have the girlfriend get the 4 cyl with the sports package.

I drove the V6 first and then the 4 banger, so I was jaded going in. The I4 was a very smooth and spunky engine though. The manumatic just seemed to wander too much in the I4 I test drove. I much prefer my good 'ole black V6 5spd. :)

Actually the 6i has much more power than the Protege. I used to have one. Has much more pull stock than the Protege does.
