Hello,
We just got a 2005 mazda 6.
One of the headlight lenses was cloudy so I replaced both.
Got great help using this forum.
Used the oven at 300 method.
The swap, and assembly went well other than the turn signals.
The holders were stuck and very difficult to remove.
I finally got them loose (before the oven)
Replaced both bulbs during reassembly.
The holders are odd, Ive never seen anything quite like them.
They dont seem to lock in place, just push them in and rotate, but nothing locks.
Ive checked to make sure the metal contact tracks are lined up ect...
Im at a loss as to what to do next.
Was going to regrease everything and put it back together carefully hoping they would start working.
Is there a trick to getting these to work after reassembling?
Thank you for your help!

Sometimes those odd little holder just stop working. I found the only way to correct the issue was to replace the holders.

This was resolved!
I lightly sanded the contacts, put gobs of dielectric grease on everything.
Swapped the two holders around between them and they started working!
I think it was the sanding/grease that did the trick!
