i was wondering if anybody contacted mazda for help? it's just a matter of economics.......if the car is tuner easy, more interest in the car, hence more sales. maybe this was done already and i missed it. however, if it doesn't work with mazda maybe ford can help out since they need all the help they can get financially since our engine is a ford and it crosses through different platforms. :drive:

what part of the code they are having problems with.If i understood Steve at NSN correctly, there is around 250ish lines of code and only 10-12 need to be altered for the standalone to work.I was the one that got the cam signal info for him on the V6 and 2.3 turbo.I also got him the igniter info for him for the naturally aspirated 2.3.

Jordan from cpe is supposed to be compiling the questions they need answered for some other projects they are currently working on.One of the best mazda techs we had just signed on with the mazdaspeed SCCA race team and said he would try to help out as much as he can on getting information to help with this.

It's just been announced that indeed bats will not be flying out of the ass of Sulma F. of Douglasville Ga. In a complete reversal of early reports, the word from Ms. F's camp is now that it is very unlikely that bats, of any size, will be flyng from her butt.

"The butt bats were in the preliminary stages..." said long time Sulma friend Jenny, "but it was looking good, and a lot of us close to her were hopeful that the bats would be winging their way from Sulma's ass as soon as late Summer".

At this time there is no word as to future ass bats being planned by Ms. F's entourage. Ms. F herself could not be reached for comment.

(P.S., John it's all in good fun. :)

what about tapping to the Mazdaspeed 6's ECU?...since it's turboed, can't we just tap it to figure out which codes we need to change or update the mazda 6 ECU (for the turbo)?...I mean, isn't that the main issue why tuning is taking so long for a turbo Mazda 6; can't figure out which of the 250 or so codes to change?...I may not be a specialist but I still believe that some of the codes are the exact same codes from the Mazda 6 and Mazdaspeed 6; just weed out some of the same codes...I may be wrong though but I hope ya'll get it...What about just swapping the ECUs itself-from the 6 to Mazdaspeed 6...and just tune the Mazdaspeed 6's ECU from there...is this even remotely possible?...we need to get this issue resolved ASAP...

Pretty sure she was insinuating that someone was talking outta their ass.. And as far as the speed6 ecu, from what I understood, it is a completely different ECU than that of the 6s? I suppose I could be wrong from what I've read though.

Yes they are diffrent, plus the speed6 has Direct injection so more hurdles. I actually emailed the guy offering him help. Its been over a week and he said he would have some of the code for me to look at within 2-3days. I think willow might be right.

Whats up with z rated and why has he not posted in a long time. I am really awaiting this production t-kit and its ecu tunning. If any one has talked to this guy about it let us all know.

He claims to work off shore. Perhaps on an oil rig so he has 7days in 7days off. Who knows...

Z-rated works in the same industry and in the same area that i do. Trust me it's tough to get on-line when you are making your living in the off-shore oil fields. As a matter of fact, I'd say that his posts have been about as regular as possible given the circumstances of our jobs.

Yes He is offshore and I am sure he will be hard at work trying to figure out the way to crack this code. But my tuner Co-partner has the same problem ya'll have with his s40 they both have three wire coils and have stand alone computers that run the engines timing, cams fuel , mapping , etc.

We are about to dyno the S40 for the first turbo kit available worldwide for the AWD because no one said there was enough room there. Then they said the PCM could not be cracked we have a component that acts like a standalone but still allows the PCM to see what it needs to. Once we get the stage 2 kit finished on the S40 we will use the same sytstem for the mazda 6 the system works with any car but needs someone like my tuner to adapt the control box. I can't say what system it is because he wants to take advantage of the niche we will have on most tuners.

The turbo kit part is already halfway done since it will correspond off of my 3.0 liter only difference is the smog locations. Plus I already talked to MSDS about getting the headers for your car for the project. Once I finish up the stage 3 kit for the duratec on the 3.0 liter cougars/contours and finalize the s40 dynos.

I will come here to give you updates or check my site for updates leave me your email I will contact all and send pics and videos of all the work we are doing at the present time.

I know how deprived your market is we were once at the same stage. We didn't have SCT back when we started we used managments sytstems instead.

Sorry for the long post with nothing but the old saying it will be here..........but it will just not sure when.
