it really depends on your skill and what you wont be able to do yourself. the more you have to have others do. the more it will cost.

people have boosted the 2.3's for under a grand without issues. but they did all the work themselves, and sourced the parts on there own. but buying a full kit is alot easier for some people that cant source the parts themselves separately.

And this is where I get dumb. I don't know what turbo and the size of one. The exhaust manifold, do I need bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, tuner, what kind of bov, lots of questions.

So I picked up the cx racing turbo kit and wanted to know for the exhaust the downpipe is 2.5 i was thinking of buying the magnaflow cat back but it is only 2.25 , would this be fine or do I have to get a custom exhaust set up and if so would you make it 3.0 just in case I decided to upgrade the manifold and down pipe or stick with the 2.5

I'm nearly certain that there is a choke point in our factory exhaust, between the header and cat, that chokes down to like 1.75 inches. I would go entirely custom and get 3 inch piping and do a single exit.

That's just my opinion though.

Are you going to do a build thread on your turbo? It would be great and a review on it.

So, I'm thinking about a turbo for my 6i. THe only thing is I have the magnaflow exhaust with the 2.25in piping like the other guy. I really only want to run about 8psi of boost since this car is my daily. Im not too good with cars yet, so I was wondering if I could actually run that amount of boost with that set up.
