so i have the hks recirc and even at times i get some backfires while shifting. my goal is to try and remove this as i'd prefer not to have them, lol. anyways after doing some logs i am thinking the maf volt range to decrease is from about 1.5 to 1.8 volts as thats usually the voltage i see during shifts and the good news is thats probably the only time i see that voltage. so i'll be doing some testing of this, and i guess if there are guys that vta and want to try and tune it out for that you could use the same principal. anyone else do this?

Just be sure that you leave the first two cells on the MAF alone - they are used for start up diagnostics. If you change them it will trip a CEL.

Also it could be your throttle lift routine, especially if you are recirced.

What RPM's are in your idle map? AFR and Timing?
