Tread depth for...

What is the tread depth of these when new? Is a tread depth of 3 considered bad? Or would it still perform well?

well 2 32nds is legally bald so I would say you might want to look into getting some new shoes

New should be 10/32.

Hmm, so I'm looking at a set of tires on R-X rims that have 7, 5, 5, & 3 for depths... Can you find used Potenza's anywhere?

ebay, but i'd be worried about patched up tires.

Anyone know the place with the best prices Potenza RE050A's? Tire Rack has them for $200. Or does anyone know of a comparable tire that is cheaper?

I am getting ready to sell my stock tires for $100 plus shipping - still have at least half tread on them. Let me know.

a good summer tire next to the re050 is the kumho ecsta spt and they are much much cheaper
