Does anyone know what has to happen to trigger the car to switch to FWD. My car is fine until i get to about 40mph the the 4wd litghts up and begins to blink. Also, when i take off from a stop agressively, the limited slip lights up also and the front tires will spin, lust like a fwd. I changed the rear diff oil cause i thought if it was low the car would prevent the rear diff from engaging but it did not help. also, i had to stiffen the rear diff with the SU braces and it started soon after that.

Anyone no where to find a TSG for the rear diff? Any suggestions? I may have to break down and take to the dealer for diagnoses.

According to the owners manual, a blinking 4WD light means that the rear differential oil temperature is too high (maybe you don't have enough oil?). If the light stays on, then there is a problem with the AWD system.

I think you mean the traction control light, right? Not sure, but this may have to do with the wheel speed sensors providing bad readings due to sensor malfunction or uneven tire tread. I'll stop speculating and leave it to the experts to help you .

Sounds like you have a real malfunction in the AWD. Could be the connector at the diff, the temp sensor or worst case, the coupling unit itself. Go for the easy stuff first and check all the connectors/wiring for obvious loose/damaged.

I had the same issue when I swapped my brace for the Stiff Diff. My dumbass forgot to connect that thingy that goes to the diff. I was freaking out that I screwed something up. For some reason it clicked in my head that that I forgot that, but yeah, like ^ said.
